Steak Fry 2015: Highlights and Thank You’s !

STEAK FRY 2015*

Thanks to all of you Trail Riders who brought your “better way of life” attitude to the re-creation of an uniquely Apple Valley tradition.  A rebel wind from the east may have blown, but we set anchor and enjoyed a great evening with old friends, nostalgia and western entertainment.  To EVERYONE we say, “Thanks for joining us in setting trail markers today for a better tomorrow at Hilltop !”.

If you missed the Trail Presentation and funding update, see the video at end of this page !

TRAIL PRESENTATION AND FUNDING UPDATE VIDEO

beauty

“Last Friday at the Apple Valley Legacy Trail (and Apple Valley Legacy Museum) Steak Fry and fundraiser at the Apple Valley Inn. Patterned after the events Roy Rogers and Dale Evans used to throw on the same property, and right next to the new Apple Valley museum, with the nearby Hilltop House looking on from above. Many showed up and enjoyed some scrumptious vittles, country music and old fashion fun, including free hayrides and a western gunfight show. We think Roy and Dale would have approved. Hopefully, this will become a regular event!”  Jeri Earl, The Desert Way

Happy Trails and see you all at the next Steak Fry!
